Comfortable living doesn't need to be expensive. Now, it's more evident with a project of Avida Land.
Sta. Barbara Homes is another project of Avida Land under Ayala Land, one of the primary land developers in the Philippines. Avida Land is a subsidiary of Ayala Land that primarily focuses on affordable housing projects for the middle class.
This particular project is located in province of Quezon at Brgy. Isabang, Lucena City. It is located 4 km away from Lucena City proper and is accessible through Maharlika Highway.

Security is priority in Sta. Barbara Homes. The whole village is gated, fenced with round-the-clock security. Commercial establishments such as Lucena Doctor's Hospital, Pacific Mall and others are pretty much accessible from Sta. Barbara's Home's location.
San Miguel Minor Basilica, one of the beautiful churches in the Philippines; is also in found in Quezon province at Tayabas. Schools such as ABE International College of Business and Economics, Maryhill College along with other schools are found at Lucena City (which was said earlier to be 4 km away). This makes living here even more convenient.
Sta. Barbara Homes primary focus is on- small houses, duplex units and town houses. I feel that this development can be particularly appealing to people who often travel here (they can stay here instead of renting a hotel) or people who need utilitarian houses which aren't too fancy but at the same time, still have the primary comforts that people look for in a home.
To your left, you can see the basic layout of Cataluna (duplex). There is space for the basic parts of a house like the bedroom, the dining room, the living room, kitchen, bedrooms, etc. The layout of the house is beautifully done. There's still a sense of spaciousness and relaxation inside the unit despite the limited space. Of course, realistically, you can only put so much furniture inside the house.
The lots provided for each unit vary from 33, 36, 42 and 48 square meters with an average lot size of 75 square meters for duplex units and 40 square meters for townhouse units.
There are several units offered. Aside from Cataluna (1-level, duplex) 33 square meters, there's Merida (2-floor duplex) 48 square meters, Cordova (2- floor duplex) 36 square meters, Sevilla (single house) 33 square meters, and Calypso (town house). Below is a blueprint of what a single house unit (Sevilla) would look like. Some people are more private than others, and if you're one of those people who are big on privacy you might want to purchase Sevilla unit instead of a townhouse or a duplex unit.
Also, some of the duplex units have two floors (Merida, Cordova) and could suite people who prefer more space and separation for the different rooms of the unit.
It really depends on your need and preference.
Here is a picture of what Calypso's exterior (townhouse) looks like. As you can see, the units are connected with one another, (more or less you can get a feel of the difference in privacy) though the units are still separated from one another by a wall. Since this is a themed village, the look of the other houses are also like this.
As with all Ayala Land developments, this place is beautifully landscaped (you can get a glimpse of it the pictures posted) and has facilities like a basket ball court, a multi-purpose hall, gazebo and central park where you can unwind and spend some of your free time. It's always advisable to take a breather from everything that's happening in your life and reflect or simply amuse yourself with things that you like doing.
There's a saying, “The best things in life are free.” Santa Barbara now gives you a new saying; “The good things in life can now be affordable”. For more information contact our broker today.
