Cabilao Diving: Cebu Sand and Sea

Cabilao Island, 20 minutes from Mactan, is considered by many as the best diving site from Mactan.

Average depth of dives in these sites is 80 ft. and ideally done from November to June.

Olango Island-Mabini Point is known for Hammerhead Sharks.

Cabilao dive sites

Dubbed as the "Queen City of the South", Cebu offers good dive sites accessible from Mactan Island. Most of the sites are located around adjacent Olango Island. Hammerhead Point and Southwest Point

Cabiloa offers some of the best diving in the Philippines and is as a good location to spot Hammerhead Sharks.

Double drop-offs offer deeper dives to look for the Hammerheads as well as Whitetips, Grey Reef sharks and Barracuda. Lots of coral, fans and big sponges as well as a vast array of reef fish, this dive has everything!

Two drift dives from Southwest Point offer Eels, stingrays, fusiliers, jacks, snappers, sweetlips, big groupers, Napolean Wrasse and much more.

Getting There

BY PLANE: There are three airlines flying to Cebu daily
- Air Philippines, Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines.

BY FERRY: There are regular ferries to Cebu pier from almost all the islands of the Philippines.
